Enough for today
How many holes?
I read the news today oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph.
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure
If he was from the House of Lords.
I saw a film today oh boy
The English Army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
but I just had to look
Having read the book.
I'd love to turn you on
Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream
I read the news today oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
I'd love to turn you on
Museum of something
Can't remember the name of this museum but it has a cool roof.....it really is stunning....and no i am not weird
the building that is in the photo is the great library with all really cool books etc...looks a bit like indiana jones might walk out in front of you
Look at that erection!
This is a view from under the millenium bridge looking up to the tate modern (a really cool museum, they have a slippery dip in it at the moment!!!!) I really like this photo....i had to climb up under the bridge to get it....there were some bird wathing club all standing there stareing at the tower cause some rare eagle lives up there......yay for the eagle!!!

Changmai
19/07/06-21/07/06
I am in love with rice paddies. i know its not real love but i cant help it! they are jsut so pretty!
we caught a train to ayuttaya(the old capitol), just north of Bangkok. abnd saw some ruins got chased by the tourist police for riding a bike to close to some ruins. it was only a pushy!!!
i practiced my thai with a child at one of the temples...and i can count...yay.
got sunburnt and then spent the afternoon sheltered from a monsoon in a crazy thai cafe with an eccentric owner.
we got a sleeper train to changmai and then spent the next 3 days treking through the jungle.
it wasnt really trekking but more walking in sweat. the air was clean the people were fun and the villages were really nice.
at one village we ended up playing nearly 2 hours of the thai foot volleyball game called takraw. i have seen it in a few movies and have always wanted to play it and it turns out that me and alex are naturals. josh on the otherhand has a little way to go. his eye hand combo .....well you know. we played like 6 games straight with the villagers and we even won a game!!!!!
see it at the link below - its so athletic. this one thai guy with a gammy leg could launch of his good leg, do a backwards somersault kick and hit the ball over the net and land on the same good leg. AMAZING

www.burningman.com - a sweet website!!! told to me by a frieldly american - yes there are many of them in the world!
Wasted the morning in a huge mall, i have never seen so many mobile phones in one place. it was like the floor was giving birth to them!!
We went on a river cruise today on a long tail boat and fed some catfish. oooh how touristy. we saw a bunch of WAT's, they are all kinda similar.
We ended up in chinatown at night and stumbled across some chinese theatre. VERY COOL. and random.
